A parcel network is built for parcels.

Conventional carriers move volume. A document joins a belt, passes through a sorting hub, sits in a depot overnight, and is scanned by a dozen people who never learn what it is. That works for a box of trainers. It works less well for a signed contract that has to be in a solicitor’s hand on Thursday, or a set of revised drawings the site cannot pour concrete without.

Hand-carry removes the network entirely. One courier accepts your documents, keeps them, boards the aircraft with them, and hands them to the person whose name is on the job. There is no sorting facility to lose them in, because they never enter one.

It costs more than a parcel service. It is worth more when the document is the deal.

Three countries we actually know.

We are not trying to serve everywhere. We run a small number of routes properly, which means we know the flight schedules, the customs desks and the buildings at both ends.

Someone is always responsible.

“Secure” is easy to claim and hard to evidence. What it means here is that at every moment between collection and signature, a named person is accountable for your documents — and the handover between them is recorded.

A narrow service, deliberately.

We do not move pallets, freight or general merchandise. We do not run a warehouse. We do not offer the cheapest rate on any route, and we will tell you plainly when a standard carrier is the sensible choice for what you are sending.

Everything we have built — the sealed pouches, the rigid tubes, the custody protocol, the signature on every handover — exists for documents, plans and paperwork that cannot be replaced or repeated. That focus is the whole proposition.

1. Who we are

Jetpak Courier Inc. is a hand-carried document courier operating between the United States, the United Kingdom and Jamaica. We are the controller of the information described here. Contact us at info@jetpakcouriers.com or 800-499-9219.

2. What we collect

When you request a quote or book a collection: your name, company, email address, telephone number, collection and delivery addresses, preferred collection date, and anything you write in the instructions box. Please do not put the confidential contents of your documents in that box — we only need to know how to handle the shipment.

When you sign up for SMS updates: your name, mobile number, email address, company, and a record of your consent.

Automatically, when you submit a form: your IP address and browser user-agent string, recorded alongside the enquiry as a record of who submitted it.

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, advertising tags or analytics. This website stores nothing on your device.

3. Why we use it

To price your shipment, arrange collection and delivery, take payment where you choose to pay online, contact you about the job, and keep the records a courier is expected to keep. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Who else sees it

Only the services we need to run the business, and only for that purpose:

• Railway — hosts this website and our system, and stores the enquiry database.
• Resend — delivers the confirmation and quote emails we send you.
• Stripe — processes card payments. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own page and never reach our servers.
• Photon (Komoot) — suggests addresses as you type. What you type into an address field is sent to that service so it can return suggestions.
• Google Fonts and unpkg — serve the typefaces and code this page needs in order to display.
• Google Workspace — hosts our mailbox, so email you send us is stored there.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, for example to customs authorities or in response to a valid legal request.

5. Text messages

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Consent to receive text messages is not shared with anyone. Signing up for SMS updates is never a condition of using our service. Reply STOP at any time to stop messages, or HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiry and shipment records are kept for as long as we need them to run and account for the business, including to meet tax and customs record-keeping obligations. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will.

7. Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Because we operate in the United Kingdom, customers there have these rights under UK data protection law and may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Write to info@jetpakcouriers.com and we will respond within one month.

8. International transfers

We move documents between countries, so the information needed to do that travels with the shipment. Our systems are hosted in the United States, which means information about customers in the United Kingdom and Jamaica is stored there.

9. Children

This is a business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
